Treaty of Waitangi- White Hat Thinking
Post up your white hat thinking about the Treaty of Waitangi Room 11. We would also love others to add any facts they know.
Only one of the seven treaties are in English the treaty was a sign of trust. James Busby was the one that drafted the treaty. Maori tribes traded fruit and vegies for guns called muskets, they used them for self defence. Thousands of Maori were killed by the musket. Nice hat Charlie!
The Treaty of Waitangi was signed in 1840. Nice pose Charlie.
